How to Cook Stored Pintos

A lot of people say that after storing Pinto Beans for a while that they can't get them to ever cook totally done, that they are always a little hard. Is there a trick to cooking them so they will cook like fresh? Good and soft. Thank you


I've never had that problem. I've always found pinto beans to cook just fine - old or new. They just need to be soaked a long time or use a pressure cooker.
