Your Survival Supplies Inventory
Do you have enough survival supplies for your family when/if a crisis "rains on your parade"? Let's take an inventory.
I Have (what I currently have reserved) I Need (What I feel is vital, that I am lacking) I plan to (what I plan to do within the next 6 months-year to improve my preparedness). |
This should be an ongoing focus: the planning and acquisition of food, water, warm clothing/bedding, fuel, and, if you watch the news lately, cash on hand.
What do you have? For example:
- Several different kinds of veggies for one meal per day for a year.
- Enough ingredients to make one loaf of bread for one year.
- Peanut butter and jelly for lunches
- Oatmeal for breakfast
- Dry milk
- Dry eggs
- Coffee and tea
- Water filters/water storage
- Rice and beans
- Pasta
- Tomato sauces (canned).
- Various canned meats (hot dogs, chicken, pork roast, etc).
What do you need?
- More variety maybe - like some canned fruit or?
- More potable water?
- Better first aid kit?
Take inventory and make a plan for improve over the next 6 months:
- Need some MREs?
- More/better sleeping bags?
- Better storage containers?
- A communication plan with family, extended family, and neighbors?
Gather your family together and plan your survival; then work your plan diligently and consistently.
